Dr Angela Dos Santos is Australia's first Indigenous neurologist with subspecialty training in stroke. She works at both the Royal Melbourne and the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Additionally, she works for ambulance Victoria as a stroke specialist, within the Victoria Stroke Telehealth Network (VST).
She graduated from Western Sydney University in 2011 and began working in Westmead Hospital. She has held unconditional registration since 2012. In 2019 she gained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after completing her specialty training at Australia’s most influential stroke research centre, The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
She is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of Melbourne titled “Stroke incidence, risk factors, management, and outcomes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians”.

2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.
3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.
