Dr. Sutu is a Rheumatologist with relevant experience in managing inflammatory arthritis, musculoskeletal conditions and autoimmune diseases. He actively participates in research about connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, multidisciplinary healthcare and ways to improve patient care outcomes.

Dr. Sutu is a Rheumatologist who is passionate about comprehensive clinical care and equitable access to healthcare. Benjamin completed his specialist training at the Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, and is passionate about managing all aspects of rheumatic disease.

Benjamin is also a Clinical Skills Coach/Professional Practice tutor through the University of Melbourne for medical students. He is committed to the well-rounded education of our next generation of healthcare professionals.

Benjamin is currently the Music Therapy Fellow at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is an award-winning Music Therapy volunteer for the hospital and regularly contributes to the world-famous RMH Scrub Choir.

Outside of his clinical roles, Benjamin enjoys chronicling his home cooking adventures through photography and creative writing.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier.
