Dr Clinton Colaco is an Infectious Diseases Physician with additional training in General and Acute Medicine. He has an interest in core (TB, HIV and Hepatitis C) and hospital-based infectious diseases, including bone and joint, prosthesis/device-related and complex intra-abdominal infections. He currently works at Westmead Public and Westmead Private hospitals.

Dr Clinton Colaco is an Infectious Diseases Physician with additional training in General and Acute Medicine. Dr Colaco completed his MBBS at Bond University, followed by a Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) at the University of Sydney. He completed Physician Training across Western and South-Western Sydney hospitals.

Dr Colaco is dedicated to delivering high quality, evidence-based care to his patients, through effective communication, utilisation of available resources and compassionate patient care. He is involved in multiple local and international clinical trials and primary research. He has a passion for teaching medical students and currently holds the title of Conjoint Associate Lecturer with the University of Sydney and Griffith University.

Outside of medicine, Dr Colaco enjoys keeping fit, has represented internationally in bodybuilding, marathon running, cricket and advocating for doctors in professional bodies.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier.
