Dr Kalpa Perera graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his junior years at Box Hill Hospital. He commenced his Vascular Surgery training at the major trauma centre of Royal Perth Hospital before spending his fellow years at major hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney.

He is a vascular and endovascular surgeon trained in all aspects of both arterial and venous disorders. He performs both open and the latest minimally invasive techniques and will tailor treatment to the specific needs of his patients. This includes the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Frankston Hospital and Austin Health. Kalpa currently has public appointments at Austin Health and Northern Health, and operates privately at Warringal, Epworth and Knox Hospitals. Kalpa consults in Bundoora and the Eastern Suburbs.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier.
