Muhammad Sohail Rana, M.D., FRACP, is a dedicated and experienced paediatrician with a passion for providing quality care to children and making a positive impact on their lives. With over 15 years of experience in the field, with specialist training from Westmead Children hospital, Sydney,  he has developed a deep understanding of paediatric medicine and is committed to ensuring the well-being and healthy development of his young patients.

Dr. Rana’s special interests lie in the areas of: Paediatric diabetes; Child behavioural (ADHD, Autism); infant issues; growth & developmental disorders; Infant issues. His expertise in these domains allows him to effectively diagnose and manage complex conditions, providing comprehensive treatment plans that address both the physical and emotional needs of his patients.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Rana finds joy in various activities. He is an avid tennis player, enjoying the physical and mental challenges that the sport brings. Chess is another passion of his, where strategic thinking and problem-solving come to the forefront.

In addition to English, Dr. Rana is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, enabling him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients and their families. He also possesses a basic understanding of the Russian language.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier.
