As a Rheumatologist and Geriatrician with a special interest in lifestyle medicine, I provide care for patients with various rheumatic and geriatric conditions, such as arthritis, osteoporosis, dementia, and chronic pain. I have worked in a few different countries over the years, which I believe has enriched my career significantly.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in both Rheumatology and Gerontology, and a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. I have a keen interest in different facets of medicine having completed a clinical research fellow year in the UK, been first author in a worldclass geriatric medicine textbook chapter as well as authored some papers. I have also presented at national level conferences both in Australia and in the UK, held a senior lecturer position at Curtin University, WA and held a content creation role at Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA. After all of that, I recognized that where I derive the most pleasure and satisfaction from is the doctor-patient interface! My vision is to improve the quality of life and well-being of my patients and their families and as such, the broader community , through evidence-based, holistic and compassionate patient centered care.
For choosing one of Telecare's paediatricians who specialise in development and behavioural assessments for your child. We want to make sure you understand what to expect during the assessment process.
1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.
2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.
3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.
Please remember that a thorough assessment may take time and careful consideration. We appreciate your patience as we work towards the best outcome for your child. We aim to provide the best care and accurate diagnoses for your child's needs. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is here to support you.
Thank you for choosing Telecare for your child's development and behavioural assessment. We look forward to working with you and providing the care your child needs.
