Diane is an Accredited Consultant Pharmacist and Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She earned her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management at Deakin University and is currently taking her Masters in Clinical Pharmacy at University of Tasmania.
“I saw the need of understanding one’s health condition allows a person to better manage their health. I believe that achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle depends on appreciating its effect on one’s body, and that understanding the role of medications makes the individual an active participant in their health care,” she says.
Since becoming a diabetes educator, Diane has been engaged in conducting patient-centred diabetes management consultations, aiming to assist her clients achieve their individual goals with practical and sustainable suggestions. Her experiences working with Home Medicines Review, where she visits clients in their home, has given her a great appreciation of the challenges of managing chronic health issues and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Diane has developed and delivered lectures, workshops and discussions to diabetes community groups, pharmacy consumers and students, and she remains passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their health goals in partnership with their health care team.

2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.
