As a psychologist I’ve worked with people from all walks of life in the community, hospital settings and with clients in their homes. Whether someone is experiencing a significant mental health challenge or just needs some tweaks to get back on track, I’ve seen that with the right tools and support change is possible. My practice philosophy is centered around providing continuity of care such that each person feels they have the time required together and skills they need to make sustained and meaningful change in the long term.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier. I recently had to take my child to four review consultations with a pediatrician on the mainland, taking a day off work each time, just to receive test results.
